The Jetsons character style is very clean. The shapes are a contrast between sharp angles and curves and the colours are bold but flat with no shadows or highlights.
In the initial sketch I made the head too elongated, so the eyes, nose and mouth were too far apart vertically. This was corrected in the digital process. It just goes to show that simple doesn’t always mean easy!
